Sef is a short film about fatherhood, grief, and forgiveness, following two men who bond over shared loss, finding quiet connection in moments too deep for words.

A short film about two men bound by shared tragedy, grieving the loss of loved ones and finding solace in each other’s silent, sorrowful moments. At its heart, the story explores mental health, isolation, and the quiet, often unseen ways we navigate grief.

We are raising funds to support the dedicated cast and crew who poured long hours into bringing this story to life, with contributions going toward backpay, post-production costs, marketing and festival submissions. While the film is for everyone, it especially speaks to those who have experienced loss and are struggling to cope — offering the message that it’s okay to let others in and share your pain. Our aim is to complete the film by November 2025, ensuring Sef reaches audiences who may find comfort, connection, and understanding in its story.
